Test

Within the test phase, you will consider each project objective and the results of the broad scoping exercise to define and test  which combination of intervention models to implement, in order to achieve the set outcomes.

Intervention models include:

• Educate - enabling and empowering

• Support - serving and practically assisting

• Design - altering the environment

• Control - regulation and enforcement

• Inform - to communicate facts and attitudes

When you have decided what you would like to do, you should action the short-term pilot phase. This pilot should be designed to evaluated against specific qualitative and quantitative criteria and the agreed desired outcomes.

The results of the test phase should be assessed, lessons learned should be agreed and  communicated in an actionable and recordable way. The impact and outcomes related to return on investment and efficiency should also be considered in conjunction with all involved stakeholders and partners.

From this stage, a full business or deployment plan should be developed in order to guide the full roll-out of the intervention.
